As the electoral battle intensifies in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, where polls are slated for April 26, former Chief Minister and BJP stalwart Vasundhara Raje has taken charge, rallying support for her son and incumbent MP Dushyant Singh. Raje exudes confidence in the BJP’s prospects, aiming to secure an impressive victory with aspirations of surpassing the milestone of 400 seats in the election.
Addressing queries from reporters regarding the Prime Minister’s ‘400 paar’ slogan and her own ‘5 lakh paar’ vision, Raje affirmed, “The elections are upon us, and ‘400 paar’ will indeed materialize, I am certain.”
In interactions with the media, Raje emphasized the party’s determination to set new electoral benchmarks. “I cannot provide specific numbers. However, our party leaders are determined to create history in these elections,” she asserted.
Asserting the relentless commitment to public service, Raje remarked, “The work is never-ending. Despite significant accomplishments, there remains much more to be achieved. I am optimistic about the electoral outcome, confident in our victory.”
In a previous interview with ANI, Raje underscored the enduring familial ties in Jhalawar, expressing faith in the longstanding legacy of the family’s leadership. “We have deep-rooted connections here, spanning over 35 years of electoral contests. I place full trust in the senior members of our family, and I am blessed to receive their guidance,” she affirmed.
Taking to her official social media platform, Raje shared insights from her visit to Chau Mahla and Silehgarh villages in Jhalawar district on April 22. “Today, I engaged with party workers and families supporting BJP candidate Dushyant Singh in Chau Mahla and Silehgarh. The dedication of BJP workers is commendable. Upholding the principle of collaborative decision-making with workers has been my ethos,” she remarked.
Highlighting the unity and progress of the Jhalawar-Baran constituency over the past 36 years, Raje emphasized the region’s transformative development initiatives, including the establishment of modern road infrastructure.
Polling in Rajasthan is underway in two phases, with the first phase concluding on April 19 for 12 Lok Sabha seats and the remaining 13 seats scheduled for polling in the second phase on April 26.
