Tragic Incident Unfolds as 22-Year-Old Man Allegedly Run Over by Tractor-Trolley in Bharatpur, Rajasthan

In a distressing turn of events, a 22-year-old man, Upendra Kumar, was reportedly run over by a tractor-trolley on Tuesday following a dispute over the vehicle damaging a pipeline in Bharatpur district, Rajasthan, according to local police.

The incident unfolded in the Sar Mathura Gate Police Station area when two tractor-trolleys, engaged in dumping sand at a construction site, caused damage to a pipeline near a local resident’s house. In response, locals attempted to pursue the tractor-trolleys, but the vehicles failed to stop, resulting in the tragic incident where Upendra Kumar was allegedly run over.

The entire sequence of events was captured on CCTV, providing crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation.

Sub-Inspector Virendra Singh stated, “The incident happened near Bina Narayan gate. Upendra Kumar (22) was run over by a tractor-trolley. We have seized the tractor and the absconding driver is being searched. Teams have been sent for his arrest.”

Following the incident, Upendra Kumar was rushed to RBM Hospital in Bharatpur by his family members, where he was unfortunately declared dead.

The tractor driver, attempting to evade accountability, reportedly collided with two street carts and crashed into a wall while fleeing the scene. Police are actively pursuing the absconding driver to bring him to justice.
