Tragic Fire Accident Claims the Life of Army Officer in Siachen Glacier

Siachen Glacier – In a devastating fire accident that occurred on Wednesday, one Army officer lost his life, and three soldiers sustained injuries in the treacherous Siachen Glacier. The injured personnel have been successfully evacuated to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, according to the Defence Public Relations Officer (PRO), Leh, Lieutenant Colonel PS Sidhu.

During the unfortunate incident, Regiment Medical Officer Captain Anshuman Singh tragically succumbed to severe burn injuries. Three other individuals suffered from smoke inhalation and second-degree burns, the officials confirmed.
