Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma engaged in a ‘Jansunwai’ (interaction with the people) at his official residence in Jaipur, maintaining a routine of regular meetings with the public since assuming office. During these sessions, he attentively listens to the concerns of citizens, accepting memoranda or letters to be forwarded to the relevant officials for resolution.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, in a recent media interaction after inspecting a camp as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign, criticized the previous Congress-led government. He accused the former administration of making ‘false promises,’ particularly in addressing poverty. Sharma emphasized the need for public participation in the campaign to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the intended recipients.
Reflecting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks about the previous 70 years of governance, CM Sharma asserted that the earlier government had failed to fulfill promises made to various segments of the population, including youth, farmers, women, and laborers. He underscored the importance of evaluating the effectiveness of government schemes in reaching the people and encouraged active involvement in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign.
