PM Modi Participates in Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple

Prime Minister Modi took part in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, where he offered prayers to Lord Shiva and showered flowers on the idol of Jatayu. Addressing dignitaries at the event, the PM emphasized that the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol is not just a moment of triumph but also a reflection of Indian society’s maturity. He noted that the construction of the temple, initially seen as potentially inflammatory, is now a symbol of peace, patience, harmony, and the integration of the nation.

“This temple of Ram Lalla is also a symbol of peace, patience, mutual harmony, and coordination of Indian society. We are seeing that this construction is not giving birth to any fire but to energy,” said the Prime Minister. He further highlighted that Ayodhya’s temple represents national consciousness in the form of Ram.

The hour-long rituals culminated in the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol, with PM Modi leading the ceremony. The event was attended by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among others. Chants of ‘Jai Sri Ram’ echoed as devotees and guests celebrated the auspicious occasion.
