Opposition INDIA Alliance to Hold Key Meeting in Delhi After Mumbai Summit

Following the conclusion of the third meeting of the Opposition INDIA alliance in Mumbai, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Supriya Sule confirmed that the next significant gathering will take place in the national capital, Delhi.

When asked about the location and dates of the upcoming meeting, Supriya Sule responded, “In Delhi,” and added, “When do you (media persons) want it to be held, we will hold it on those dates.”

The two-day meeting in Mumbai concluded today, during which several discussions and resolutions were made. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut announced that a resolution had been passed, and four main committees were formed.

The Coordination Committee and Election Strategy Committee, consisting of 14 members, includes prominent leaders from various opposition parties such as Congress (INC), NCP, DMK, JMM, Shiv Sena (UBT), RJD, TMC, AAP, SP, JDU, CPI, NC, PDP, and one more member from CPI(M) to be announced.

The INDIA alliance has been actively working toward a united front against the ruling party, with a collective decision to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha election “as far as possible.” This resolution was adopted during their third strategic meeting aimed at formulating an action plan for the upcoming polls.

The first two meetings of the joint opposition took place in Patna on June 23 and in Bengaluru on July 17-18, with subsequent meetings focusing on strengthening their collaboration and coordination ahead of the general elections.
