Live Streaming of Ram Temple Consecration to Reach Prisoners in Uttar Pradesh

In a significant move, Uttar Pradesh Prison Minister Dharmveer Prajapati announced on Saturday that the live streaming of the Ram Temple consecration ceremony on January 22 will be accessible to all jails in the state, allowing even prisoners to witness the event.

Minister Prajapati stated, “There are more than 1.05 lakh prisoners right now. They too are citizens of this country. To ensure that they do not remain away from this occasion, live streaming will be done at all jails in the state.” He emphasized that not all prisoners are professional criminals, and this initiative aims to prevent their isolation during the holy occasion.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also unveiled plans to broadcast the grand consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Mandir live at the booth level nationwide. Scheduled for January 22, 2024, the ceremony will be telecast on large screens set up by BJP workers at the booth level. This initiative aims to provide the general public with the opportunity to witness the consecration of Shri Ram Lala.

In addition to the live telecast, BJP workers are encouraged to engage in personal social work, such as distributing blankets, organizing community feasts (‘bhandar’), or contributing through donations of food or fruits to help those in need. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple, which has drawn attention from various VVIP guests in India and abroad.

The Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla (infant Lord Ram) in Ayodhya are set to commence on January 16, one week before the main ceremony.
