Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and seasoned Congress leader Kamal Nath embarked on Saturday from Chhindwara to join the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, scheduled to enter the state today.
Expressing his intent to join the yatra, Kamal Nath stated, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is here, and I am going to join the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra. It is the best medium to connect with people. In Madhya Pradesh, the yatra will continue for five days, and I will give my time to it,” during a conversation with reporters.
Addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s criticisms of the Congress party, Kamal Nath responded, “Others will attack as they don’t have anything to say about themselves.”
Nath’s presence was accompanied by his son and Member of Parliament (MP) from Chhindwara Lok Sabha constituency, Nakulnath.
After a five-day hiatus, the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is set to resume at 2 pm from Dholpur in Rajasthan, entering Madhya Pradesh through Morena district at around 3 pm. The yatra aims to cover 6,700 km across 15 states, with Rahul Gandhi scheduled to visit the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on March 5. The yatra is scheduled to enter Gujarat on March 7. People continue to extend support during this extensive journey, as Lok Sabha polls loom on the horizon, slated for April-May this year.
