The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the revised scorecards for the NEET-UG 2024 exam, adhering to a Supreme Court directive issued on Friday. Students can now access their updated results on the official NTA website at exams.nta.ac.in.
The revision comes after the Supreme Court ordered the retraction of compensatory marks previously awarded for a Physics question. These extra marks had been granted due to an error in an old Class 12 NCERT science textbook.
Steps to Check Revised NEET-UG 2024 Scorecards:
- Visit the official NTA website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET
- Click on the notification for the revised scorecard
- Enter your credentials
- Your revised scorecard will appear on the screen
- Cross-check and download it for future reference
The NEET-UG 2024 exam, conducted on May 5, saw over 24 lakh candidates participating at 4,750 centres across 571 cities. A re-examination was held on June 23 for 1,563 candidates who experienced time loss during the original exam.
The NTA has also released a document listing the top 100 candidates, including the top 20 male and female scorers, as well as the toppers in the unreserved and OBC-NCL categories.
With the revised scorecards now available, the NTA is expected to soon begin the NEET-UG 2024 counselling process.
