The birthday celebration of senior BJP leader Om Mathur became a significant event, drawing a large crowd not only from Rajasthan but also from Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, who gathered in Jaipur to convey their birthday wishes to Mathur.
On January 2, Mathur was welcomed with the pomp usually reserved for a Chief Minister. Traditionally, Mathur celebrated his birthday by performing ‘Rudrabhishek’ in his village Bedhal in Pali. However, this year, the celebration shifted to Jaipur at the request of friends and party workers.
Prominent figures, including Ministers and MLAs, joined the festivities, with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal and Chhattisgarh’s Deputy CM Arun Sao, along with Brijmohan Agrawal and Mahesh Gagda, reaching Mathur’s residence to extend their warm wishes.
Expressing his gratitude, Mathur, overwhelmed by the affection showered upon him, reflected on the joyous occasion, marking a grand affair that transcended regional boundaries.
