Governor Kalraj Mishra Advocates Coordinated Medical Systems for a Healthy Rajasthan

Governor Kalraj Mishra, on Monday, emphasized the coordination of various medical systems to achieve a healthy Rajasthan. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed women’s hostel at the College of Unani, Tonk campus, Mishra highlighted the importance of developing the Unani system of medicine in alignment with modern needs and its practical application in diagnosing incurable diseases.

According to an official statement, Governor Mishra underscored the significance of carrying forward the work of Hakim Ajmal Khan, a renowned scholar in the Unani medical system. He called for a concerted effort to enhance the practicality and relevance of Unani medicine in addressing contemporary health challenges.

Governor Mishra stressed the need for collaboration between the Unani system of medicine, Indian Ayurveda, and Allopathy medical systems to work towards achieving the goal of a ‘Healthy Rajasthan.’ He urged the integration of these systems to contribute to the health goals outlined in “Developed India 2047.”

The governor inaugurated the women’s hostel through an online ceremony, marking a step towards strengthening the infrastructure and facilities in the Unani College in Tonk.
