French President Emmanuel Macron touched down in Jaipur on Thursday to participate as the chief guest in the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma at the airport.
Later in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, currently on a visit to Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr, is also expected to reach Jaipur.
The dignitaries have a packed schedule that includes visits to Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. A road show from Jantar Mantar to Hawa Mahal is planned, followed by a meeting at Hotel Rambagh Palace in the evening.
