Former Jehovah’s Witnesses Member Claims Responsibility for Kochi Blasts, Labels Group as ‘Anti-National’

Hours following the tragic Kochi blasts that resulted in one fatality and numerous injuries, Dominic Martin, an estranged former member of Jehovah’s Witnesses now in police custody, took to social media to post a video, admitting responsibility for the incident.

In the video, Dominic states, “I take responsibility for the blast. I am sharing this video to explain why I did it. I had been affiliated with Jehovah’s Witnesses for the past 16 years. However, I wasn’t deeply committed to my faith. I came to realize that their stance is against the interests of our nation, and I wanted them to rectify it. Regrettably, they were unwilling to do so.”

He goes on to say, “I discerned that this ideology was misguided. They inculcate harmful beliefs in the minds of children, instructing them not to accept even a sweet from others. They discourage singing the national anthem or participating in the defense service. They propagate the idea that all people worldwide will perish, leaving only their group. What should we do with those who desire the destruction of all humanity? I couldn’t find a solution.”

Dominic Martin continues, “I made this decision because I recognized the danger posed by this ideology to our country. If no one challenges this belief, they will continue to think their ideology is correct. Jehovah’s Witnesses, your ideology is mistaken. You should assist and respect others. During the floods, you only cleaned the homes of your members. This misguided ideology must be stopped. The details of the blast plan must remain undisclosed, as it is perilous.”

The video represents a startling revelation, shedding light on the motivations behind the tragic events in Kochi and emphasizing the importance of addressing extremist ideologies that may threaten the fabric of a nation.
