Delhi BJP Yuva Morcha President Shashi Yadav Expelled for Anti-Party Activities

BJP State President Cites Violation of Party Constitution and Repeated Warnings

Delhi, January 3, 2024 — Shashi Yadav, the president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha in Delhi, has been promptly expelled from the party for engaging in anti-party activities, according to an official letter from BJP state president Virendraa Sachdeva. The expulsion is effective immediately.

Violation of Party Constitution and Invalid Announcements

The letter highlighted Yadav’s announcement on Tuesday, where he disclosed the state officials, Lok Sabha in-charges, district in-charges, and three remaining district presidents of the party. The state president deemed these announcements “not valid” as per the party’s constitution. It emphasized that the state office bearers of all eight Morchas were supposed to be announced by BJP Delhi, and Yadav’s actions were a direct violation of this directive.

Repeated Warnings and Indiscipline

The letter underscored that Yadav had been consistently warned by the state leadership regarding his “anti-party” and “anti-social activities.” Despite the warnings, Yadav allegedly continued to engage in actions that undermined the party’s integrity.

Immediate Expulsion for Indiscipline

Due to the disobedience of party orders and the announcement of office bearers not in accordance with the party’s constitution, the letter declared Yadav’s expulsion for indiscipline. It stated, “All the announcements made by you today are not in accordance with the constitution of the party, hence these announcements are not valid and hence they are not applicable. Due to your indiscipline, you will be expelled from the party with immediate effect.” (ANI)
