Congress Gears Up for Rajasthan Assembly Elections with Intensive Preparations

As the Rajasthan Assembly Elections approach later this year, the Congress party is ramping up its efforts to ensure a strong presence in the upcoming polls. With candidates eagerly awaiting ticket distribution, the party has initiated preparations to streamline its strategy and organization.

A significant step in this direction was the convening of a meeting of the Rajasthan Congress Political Affairs Committee on Friday. The meeting witnessed the participation of key leaders including AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal, Senior Observer Madhusudan Mistry, Observer Shashikant Senthil, Rajasthan In-Charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Assembly Speaker CP Joshi, and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot.

Held at the PCC war room, the meeting delved into detailed discussions regarding election preparations, the compilation of the list of candidates, and other pertinent matters. KC Venugopal, while addressing the gathering, emphasized that the party has fully shifted into election mode, urging that no tasks should remain pending. He further stressed the importance of expediting appointments related to both government and organizational matters.

Venugopal underscored the need to highlight initiatives beneficial to the common citizens and promote them extensively to counter any potential propaganda from opposing parties, particularly the BJP.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed his optimism about the unity of all Congress leaders and revealed the party’s ambitious goal of securing victory in 156 out of the 200 seats in the Rajasthan Assembly. During the meeting, he addressed concerns regarding RS MP Neeraj Dangi, urging him to prioritize the party’s success over personal matters and familial considerations.

With the Congress party demonstrating its commitment to a robust and effective campaign for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections, the state’s political landscape is set for an engaging and closely contested battle.
