Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda is set to conduct individual meetings with all BJP morchas (wings) at the party’s Extension Office on Saturday. The day-long meeting holds significant importance and will commence at 9 am, with the presence of BJP’s BL Santosh and the participation of all morcha presidents.
During the meeting, the morcha presidents will present their upcoming plans, providing a comprehensive overview of their strategies. The BJP will review the progress made since the last meeting on July 1, where attendees presented progress reports on their respective work under the “Maha Jansampark Abhiyan” in celebration of nine years of the Narendra Modi government, according to sources.
“The attendees will present their report cards and share their upcoming plans and strategies with the party chief,” a source stated.
Saturday’s meeting will serve as a follow-up to the July 1 gathering, where morcha presidents will receive updates on any new additions to their plans and discuss strategies for moving forward with their work.
The BJP consists of seven morchas, including the Mahila Morcha (Women’s Wing), Yuva Morcha (Youth Wing), Kisan Morcha (Farmers’ Wing), SC Morcha (Scheduled Castes Wing), ST Morcha (Scheduled Tribes Wing), OBC Morcha (Other Backward Classes Wing), and Minority Morcha.
In addition to the morcha meetings, sources reveal that a meeting of BJP’s national spokespersons is also scheduled for Saturday. These meetings indicate the party’s preparation for the upcoming state assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram, scheduled for later this year, as well as the crucial 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
