Bajrang Dal Leader Monu Manesar Sent to Judicial Custody in Nuh Violence Case

Bajrang Dal leader Monu Manesar, accused of inciting violence in Nuh, has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody, with his next court appearance scheduled for September 26. The case against him has been met with claims of wrongful registration.

Speaking on behalf of the accused, Som Dutt Sharma, the advocate, stated, “He has been sent to judicial custody till September 26. He will be produced before the court again. The case has been wrongly registered against him.”

Monu Manesar was detained earlier by the Haryana Police in Gurugram’s Manesar.

The Nuh district recently experienced violent clashes between two groups, triggered by an attack on a religious procession passing through the area. This unfortunate incident resulted in the loss of two home guards’ lives and left dozens of people injured, including approximately 20 policemen.

Bharatpur Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachawa confirmed that they are coordinating with Haryana Police regarding Monu Manesar’s transit remand.

Monu Manesar, also known as Mohit Yadav, hails from Manesar near Gurugram and is one of the key accused in the case related to the deaths of two individuals, Nasir and Junaid. He was booked for their murder in February. The Rajasthan Police had filed a chargesheet in May, naming Monu Manesar as one of the accused in the case.
